This summer, I really realize how much my preferences have changed over the years. I used to loathe pretty much anything floral; nowadays, I almost prefer my perfume to have some floral notes. Funny how tastes change isn't it? Do you guys notice this happening to you a lot?
Anyway, these scents have been my go-to's this summer. I don't own full-sized bottles of the perfumes (they are all samples or minis), but if I'm at work I always spray myself with one of them!

Dove Go Fresh Burst Nectarine & White Ginger body mist: I think I got this last summer actually, and I love it on days that I'm not doing anything special (or sometimes after I shower when I need a mood boost). It's a body mist so it doesn't linger very long, but the nectarine is very dominant and is so uplifting! Peach-type scents are a favorite of mine. It's perfect for the summertime when you don't want anything too heavy.
Lovestruck by Vera Wang: I only have this in a mini body lotion, but it smells just as good as the perfume! This is a new one by Vera Wang and you have to see the packaging (link takes you to the Sephora page), it's beautiful! It's no wonder that I like this one. It has pink guava and mandarin but is deepened by "precious woods" and musk, making it a great transition into the fall.
Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture: Favorite! Viva La Juicy was the first perfume I completely fell in love with, and the first "higher end" perfume I bought. I own the 1.7oz size as well as this rollerball, which was actually just given to me by my sister who never wore it. SHAME! Anyway, I'm a lover of warm scents that have a sweetness to them and this is just perfect for me. And the notes? Berries, mandarin, honeysuckle, and then caramel, vanilla, praline (among others)..... definitely seeing a small resemblance to Lovestruck just with more sweetness. I seriously can wear this any time of the year, despite being pretty picky about seasons/perfumes.
Heat Rush by Beyonce: Speaking of Beyonce, have you guys smelled her brand new one, Pulse? It reminds me of a Victoria's Secret one that I can't put my finger on, but I'm kind of liking it. Along with all her others. Heat Rush is a newer one this summer and is down your alley if you like fruity perfumes. It's borderline TOO fruity for me, but I still love it. It has a base of amber and musk, with top notes of passion fruit and blood orange, yum!
Daisy by Marc Jacobs: And my favorite summer scent saved for last! This is one that totally surprised me because I used to really dislike Daisy (despite all the gorgeous advertisements and hype around it!). It's very floral, but it's a really sweet floral. The dry down consists of musk, vanilla, and white woods, but the top notes include strawberry, violet, gardenia, and grapefruit. GAH I just love this. And isn't the little mini bottle adorable? I think it's .25oz. and it's the cutest!
After listing an assortment of notes in these perfumes, I've definitely figured out my "taste" in scents. Woods, amber, and fruity florals. We definitely gravitate towards what we like once we find it!
