The packaging comes in this bulky cardboard container, but inside is the real balm. It's in the standard Burt's Bees lip balm packaging which is nice- simple, sleek, compact.
I tried the shade Pink Blossom because I wasn't feeling very adventurous. And as it turned out, it's probably as neutral a shade as you can go (especially being a tinted lip balm!). It's very my-lips-but-better and gives a very subtle hint of pink. I like this for my purse at work or in my car; it's a no-brainer. I don't need a mirror to apply because it's so subtle, and it's natural enough that it works with any eye/cheek color.
I love how Burt's Bees kept the same moisturizing qualities of their normal lip balms with this one. I'm curious about what the other shades of these are like now- I can't quite picture how they'd look on lips. Do you guys own any of them? I'd love to know your thoughts!
I'm still undecided if I'm in love. Pink Blossom ran me almost $7.00 at Target, which is about double the price of one regular Burt's Bees lip balm. And the new ELF Mineral Lip Tints are $3.00 (although online only...) and give more color.
I mean, they're nice, but I'm not sold on it yet being as cheap as I am. LOL. I probably wouldn't repurchase this even though it is nice and convenient.
What do you think?
