A pair of colorful EOTDs... trying to improve!

Hi!  So, I've been really trying to perfect my eyeshadow application techniques and become better at placing colors, blending, etc.  I think I often make the mistake of over blending, which makes shadows look muddy and kind of ruins everything IMO.  And I don't know, maybe I'm just being super critical but I feel like the looks I create aren't different or outstanding enough.  I want them to be AWESOME (like so many other talented bloggers)!
I've been getting ideas from various blogs and communities (I just joined The Makeup Bee where you post looks and people can comment/like them, it's fun!) to help me learn new techniques and combinations.  It's helping, and I think a lot of it is just playing around and trying them out.  Practice makes perfect, right?

Both of these looks were inspired by a "pop of color", just added in different places.  I think I like how they turned out overall but I definitely need to work at it!
