With all the new makeup collections/releases coming out for summer and fall, I've found my wishlist growing longer and longer. There are so many things I want (need?) in my collection! Being on a tight college student budget makes trips to Sephora few and far between, however, we can still drool and lust over our favorites, right? Some of these products are new to my radar, but several are ones I've coveted for months. Keep reading to see what will hopefully- eventually- make its way into my shopping basket!
Stila Set & Correct baked powder ($34.00)- I have a weird obsession with setting powders? I don't really get it because they are the furthest thing from exciting! Ever since I used the BareMinerals Mineral Veil almost two years ago, I've found myself fascinated with the perfected/finished look a powder gives and love trying out new ones. This one from Stila has three different color-correcting shades to brighten, even out your complexion, and prime/set your makeup.
Origins GinZing brightening eye cream ($29.50)- I'm still on the fence about how necessary an eye cream really is, but lately my eye area has been craving some extra TLC- as in, dark circles are worse than ever. I've heard some decent things about this so count me intrigued! I actually just bought a brightening eye cream from my work (Mojo Spa) yesterday, and I'm really interested to see how that works over time- I'll keep ya'll updated.
NARS eyeshadow duos in Jolie Poupee & Vent Glace ($34.00)- I've wanted Jolie Poupee for years, ever since my sister started using it as her go-to purple eyeshadow palette. The purples are seriously just fabulous and I've yet to find anything comparable in pigment, color, and texture. Vent Glace had me excited from the fall 2012 promo pictures, though I am worried it's not as much of a necessity as I originally thought. Both palettes are gorgeous cool toned shades- one perfect for a pop of color, the other for more relaxed to-do's.
Sephora Pro Aibrush #56 ($32.00)- Shoot, I hate how expensive makeup brushes are. This one has awesome reviews, though, and many of the brushes I've felt while shopping at Sephora are really soft! It's been a long freaking time since I've purchased any new brushes, and these flat-top synthetic bristle types are my absolute favorite for foundation.
Sephora+Pantone Universe Dazzling lip gloss set ($24.00)- Is this not the cutest?! I'm not even a lip gloss junkie, but I might need this set for that crazy pretty shimmery fuchsia. GLORY!
Dior Addict Lip Glow OR Lip Balm ($30.00)- The picture in the collage is actually for the Dior Addict lip balm in Crystal Coral, but I just stumbled across the "Lip Glow" and now I don't know which one I need! A trip to Sephora would solve that, I suppose. These are prob. way overpriced for what they are but I have some weird fascination with the pretty packaging and... I don't know. I haven't even read that many reviews for either of these so who knows!
Sadly, I probably won't be able to afford any of these for a long time. OH WAIT! My 21st birthday is in September, so maybe a couple things will go on my birthday list. There's an idea. ;)
I haven't done a post like this in a long time- what are you guys currently lusting over? Thanks for reading! <3
